Pegadaian is a pawn-based corporation that has always been the national market leader and is also registered as a part the government’s company called BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara). They serve as one of the tools by the government to provide economical aid for the middle and lower class market, and at the the same time closely monitored by OJK, the monetary regulator in Indonesia.
Keeping up with technology
Nowadays the users of Pegadaian has reached the millennials or the so-called productive ages who are digital natives that are actively consumes the internet. Thus, Pegadaian adapted to these changes by launching the Pegadaian Digital application together with their new product line, Gadai Express.
Gadai Express uses the trending delivery system to allow their users to send in jewelries and other valuables without being present at any one of the Pegadaian branches where long queues are the norm. With that being said, our design focus for them mainly caters to this purpose.
We help them to execute their social media posts, banners and even flyers with informative messages for their customers. Because this is a new thing for many people to entrust their valuables to be delivered by strangers, hence to build and translate this message through effective designs is of the utmost importance.
